Rail Europe is a worldwide distributor of train tickets and rail passes. The company is specialised in selling rail products outside Europe. Being a joint venture between the French National Railways (SNCF) and the Swiss Federal Railways (SBB), but also partner with several railway carriers, Rail Europe ensures that both passengers and commercial partners are offered the best deals.
Rail Europe operates through 2 entities which serve different markets.
- For the distribution of European train tickets and rail passes in Asia, Australia, South America, Africa and the Middle East region, Rail Europe 4A handles all operations.
- For the distribution of European train tickets and rail passes in North America, Rail Europe Inc. handles all operations.
Rail Europe 4A is based in Paris but has offices across the globe in Australia, South America, Japan, India, Dubai and South Korea and distributes its rail products in more than 45 countries. As well as selling its products through its General Sales Agents, Rail Europe also have local websites in different languages.
In 2013, Rail Europe 4A transported more than 3 million travellers, achieving a turnover of over 215 million euros.

Point to point tickets
For anyone travelling between two cities or from the airport to a city centre and back point to point train tickets are probably the best bet.
