
Focused primarily in Germany, with service to some areas of Switzerland and Austria also available, the ICE connects all the major German cities such as Frankfurt and Hamburg in just under 3.5 hours.
It services over 32 destinations including Hamburg, Munich, Berlin, Frankfurt, Stuttgart and Cologne. With speeds of up to 174 mph and hourly service, travel on the ICE Premier Trains through Germany is a joy. Some trains also go to Switzerland (Zurich and Interlaken) and Austria (Vienna).

Reservations are required on this train. The fare includes the cost of the ticket, but not the reservation. Reservation fees are additional. It is strongly recommended that you make your reservation when ordering your ticket.
SPECIAL NOTE: Some ICE and EC trains in Europe require supplements to be paid in addition to a seat reservation when traveling with a ticket or a pass. This supplement (when not included by Rail Europe) can be paid on board the train or at the ticket window. Supplements can range in price from 10 Euro to 30 Euro.
