Passengers travelling with Thalys have two classes to choose from: Comfort 1 and Comfort 2
Comfort 1: Travellers who choose Comfort 1 can start enjoying their journey from the moment they arrive at the train station, in one of the Thalys lounges.
You can relax and read the paper or have a snack in the NS Hispeed Lounge in Amsterdam, Schiphol or Rotterdam or the DB lounge in Cologne.
Once you have boarded the Thalys the high level of service continues to make you experience easy and enjoyable. Passengers are greeted by multilingual staff and shown to their seat.
The Thalys trains Comfort 1 carriages offer comfortable reclining seats, international newspapers and free wifi internet access. For those who want some quieter space to work, there is the Salon, a private space ideal for working alone or with colleagues.
During the journey Comfort 1 passengers will be served an in-seat meal and have the option to pre-book a taxi when arriving in Paris or Brussels, avoiding queues when they disembark.

Comfort 2: Travellers who choose Comfort 2 can collect wifi vouchers from the bar as well as buy public transport tickets for the Netherlands, Brussels and Paris.
There is also a range of hot and cold refreshments on the Thalys in the bar in carriages 4, 14 and 24.
For those who want to work there are power sockets in the carriage to charge laptops or mobile phones.
Remember that smoking is not allowed anywhere on any Thalys train.
