Reviews & ratings Arras - Paris
Everything about our train trip was great.
Great trip in all respects. Appreciated that the trains ran to time schedules and bookings and confirmations through Rail Europe were so effecient
same as above no assistance for people with disabilities and limited seating at Lille Flanders with so many people waiting for trains, instead of a piano put some more seats in especially out of the cold.
Travelled late afternoon / night so it was dark when we arrived. we soon got our bearings and had a 5 minute walk to our accommodation. Rail staff friendly and courteous.
The journey took less than 3 hours and ran on schedule.
We found this to be a fast and comfortable way to travel across France for a great 1st class price. If only we had transport like this in Australia!
Enjoyed trip though in Arras on our return it was difficult to understand what was happening when train was delayed as all announcements in French. We luckily were able to board another train and make the return journey at the correct time through seeking counter assistance. Extremely smooth, quick and comfortable ride
Recently I travelled from Paris to Arras by TVG. The train was spotlessly clean and on time. I booked and paid online so if you do the same you will need to print out your ticket. Even though I don't speak French all the staff were frindly and eager to help. Paul Australia
We travelled on the TGV a number of times on this trip and other times. Our trip to Arras was very easy. We do not like driving and find that the train is the way to travel. The trains are on time, staff are very helpful, clean and comfortable in both classes, plus there is good signage at stations.
Although our trip was pleasant and mostly without problems (reasonably comfortable, fast and on time), there was no where to stow our luggage (two suitcases
