Reviews & ratings Barcelona - Madrid
Train was on time, comfortable and fast. My only complaint is that when booking online from Australia not all scheduled times are available for booking. Tried to book a different time through the USA site but it wouldn't let me. Please open up the whole timetable to Australia.
We found the train trip very smooth and very comfortable and organized. Thankyou Joe
We enjoyed the efficiency of the train system and the ease of getting our train. It would be easier though if more people spoke English, we were surprised how few employees of the train system spoke English considering there are so many holiday makers.
Fast train is the only way to travel- punctual, clean. A great experience.
I had been travelling in Europe for about a month..planes..buses..and decided to travel on something different. It took me back to my childhood when I used to travel on train a fair bit.. It was great..I didn't need to be there an hour before (like planes).. And was comfortable, plenty of leg room and great to be able to get up and walk around when required...head to the dining car etc. Was great to also watch some of the scenery..missed when flying..
The choice to travel by train to Madrid was perfect. The trip took 3 hours,av . speed 280km per hour.It was a chance to see the countryside,check-in time was minimal and the Madrid airport is in the centre of town. The only problem was luggage, since most passengers had a couple of items, luggage was in the aisles. The problem is the space allocated for suitcases is too small.
we found the train to be very quick and easy and very comfortable way to travel by in Spain. We found they were on time very clean and value for money. . We would travel with them again.
Would be good to be able to get ticket directly on smartphone
The 4 of us who travelled from Barcelona to Madrid were most impressed with our train trip. The journey was smooth and quiet. Seats were comfortable and spacious. Train was on time.
