  • "Relaxed and Entertaining"

      Rosalie p.
Travelling by myself from Australia, and not speaking anything other than English, I couldn't have been happier with my experience on the fast train from Amsterdam to Paris. I chose the first class option, and believe it was a very good choice. The presentation of the carriage, the professionalism of all the stewards, the quality of food, the range of wines and the attention to requirements by the carriage host could not be faulted. I loved the experience. Thank you so much :-)
  • "Convenient and fast Eurostar "

      Ling y.  20/11/2013
The trip from London to Paris via Eurostar from St Pancras International to Gare du Nord station on 21st October 2013 was convenient and fast. Food served on board was good, service was great and we were all welcome on board with friendly faces by the chief and other stewards. I must say the journey 2 over hours was not long as I expected. It was pretty relaxing and fast. Printing online the tickets enable us to move in quickly to get our immigration cleared and finding our train cabin was alright. I will suggest to first-timers travelling from London to Paris to use the Eurostar and get it on promo sale prices to avoid the peak hours and traffic from using local airplanes.

Why on earth would you travel from Paris to London any other way?? Leave from the centre of town and arrive in the centre of town. No transfers. Service and refreshments did not disappoint us.
  • "Excellent"

      Judith m.  19/11/2013
We traveled from Amsterdam to Paris first class, which is a 4 hour trip. Thalys made the journey feel short as it was so comfortable. The staff were friendly and always around. There wasn't a lot of baggage storage space so we put our suitcases above us. There were a lot of older people who had difficulty with the baggage storage.
  • "Great train journey"

      Judith m.  19/11/2013
This train was clean, comfortable, fast and on time exactly what we paided for.The only complaint was the lack storage for luggage items at the end each carriage. St Pancras terminal is so much cleaner and better laid out Paris Nord.
  • "French TGV Trains"

      Andris v.  18/11/2013
Once again we have used the excellent TGV train service in France. On this occasion from Montpellier St Roch to Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris. The trip was fast, the carriage was of very good quality, and we were able to enjoy great views of the countryside as we went. Buying well in advance got us 1st class at a very good price. Highly recommended.
  • "Great way to travel"

      Robert j.  14/11/2013
We recently travelled Europe by train and found it so easy and convenient to do it this way rather than any other way. Our trip from Paris to Amsterdam was great but was disappointed that after Italy there was no wifi to use on the trains. Would definitely travel by train again.
  • "Don’t miss the train!"

      Raymond h.  11/11/2013
With more than ample time to make our train, our local taxi driver got lost on the way to the station (AIX EN PROV), so we missed the train. We had to purchase a new ticket at a huge increase over our original 1st Class ticket. The TGV was 47 minutes late which caused us to miss out flight from CDG to DXB and connection to SYD. Not a great way to conclude a wonderful two-week holiday. The Rail Europe service to purchase our origin tickets in Australia was very good.
  • "Train Travel Paris to Munich "

      Barry c.  07/11/2013
I would recommend this mode of transport from Paris to Munich. Excellent trains, reliable clean and fast. As the train station is near the centre of the city transport to hotels is quick and easy.
  • "Trip from Avignon to Paris "

      Catherine t.  07/11/2013
I was extremely pleased to complete this trip by TGV in a comfortable seat on a train that ran to schedule. On the day of travel I had to change my itinerary from starting my trip from Marseille to Avignon but was still permitted by the ticket office to do this easily, using the same ticket. Booking my ticket on-line also saved me from having to have my ticket validated by machine before commencing my journey. I was very happy with this result and would not hesitate to book with your company for my next european train trips. Thankyou very much

  • "Luxembourg to Paris"

      Andrew t.  06/11/2013
The part from Lux to Metz was by local train and the TGV was picked up in Metz for the rest of the trip to Paris. Both train services were on time and comfortable. I would recommend this because of its ease of travel and low price.
  • "Highly recommended"

The TGV from Paris to Avignon was an excellent choice. Good value, comfortable seats, nice views during the passage and very convenient. You would hardly know you were travelling as fast as we were.
  • "becareful of the final station"

      Kenneth h.  06/11/2013
When taking the train from Paris to Calais that there are two stations as we booked the Calais train, not knowning that there are two Calais station being Calais Frethun and the station were you catch the ferry to Dover as they are 8 kms apart. A French guy told us that to stay on the train to got to the final station, I am glad that I did otherwise we may have had to walk or a taxi.
