Reviews & ratings Berlin - Munich
Very good service. Comfortable train prefer this to flying by plane. Arrived on time, hassle free.
We found our train trip very pleasant. There is so much less hassle with getting the train than going by plane. Great service
As international visitors with luggage we found there was not enough space for everyone to stow their luggage. We had reserved seats but many other passengers were standing making it very crowded. Then 2 carriages were shut down because of an airconditioning failure. Therefore our first experience on fast train was not great.
It was a comfortable and convenient journey. The train was bang on time and the travel was highly enjoyable. Good value for money too.
Comfortable journey with large seating area, mobile food and drinks trolley, fantastic way to see the countryside and a lot cheaper than the plan with room to move
Convenient, clean, easier than other alternatives and comfortable Highly recommended
The ICE between Munich and Berlin was great. There was plenty of room and the seats were comforatbale. Ty not to sit near the doors as it does get annoying with people coming and going however if you smoke when the trains stops you can qucikly jump out. Best to get the early morning train to get into berlin earlier.
The train trip itself was quite comfortable, unfortunately this leg of my trip ran 90 minutes over schedule causing me to miss my connecting train. Ensure you leave at least 2 hours between connections as the trains are notorious for running late.
Very busy with I think two large school groups. One toilet was out of order and the guard closed off one of the wash rooms as well so I had to get him to reopen it for me.
