Reviews & ratings Berlin - Paris
Trip was very comfy and much less hassle than short flights, the train guard was very helpful and friendly style. Would go again by train, price was good.
Even though it has been 20 years since the wall came down it is obvious that the railway network is not set up for high speed to Berlin. The train can do 300 k but the rail lines are not up to it so it is 120kph chug along. Everything else fine, Berlin station brand new but under done when it comes to sit down eating only one sit down cafe working at 8.00 am and you have to queue to be served and no backchat or we have ways of making you pay!
First class TGV was very nice, good leg room. And train was quick.
