Reviews & ratings Brussels - Amsterdam
We had a comfortable journey and the only thing my daughter complained of was the internet that she could not connect to. Would use Thalys again.
Booking through Rail Europe was so easy. We enjoyed the journey on this superior train service.
I've used Thalys on many occasions and it is a convenient and fast way to get between European cities. In my experience it is reliable and I would certainly use this form of travel again. It beats the trek to the airport, security, collecting bags etc...I thoroughly recommend train travel and Thalys in particular. Mark (Aust)
Nothing out of the ordinary, everything was as expected, same as Paris to London.
Nice train journey with nice scenery great locations for getting to hotels in amsterdam
I changed trains in Bruxelles for Amsterdam and found the service to be of excellent quality and value. The customer service was fantastic and the trip was so much better than flying.
A pleasant way to spend the time in a fast journey between cities. We enjoyed our first trip on a fast train in a fast but rather dirty train. Not enough attention to detail by the rail company but the price was cheap so I wonder where you draw the line? Dirty windows made photography hopeless.
I recently travelled from Amsterdam to Paris (airport) I found the trains to be very clean and comfortable and the staff extremely helpful - especially assisting with my bags as I was travelling alone and juggling your luggage can be hard.
I recently took the Thalys train from Brussels to Amsterdam first class. The seat itself was very comfortable and roomy. The meal, served at my seat, was excellent and it was convenient to have the free wifi. The staff on the train were very nice. I felt very relaxed upon arriving in Amsterdam. Last year I travelled second class from Amsterdam to Paris on the Thalys and though this was perfectly fine too, I love the experience of travelling First Class.
Thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Very comfortable and smooth. Will definitely travel with Thalys again.
Enjoyed our trip on Thalys. Very efficient. No issues with booking. Quite expensive if no Eurail card though. We just had to pay a reservation fee.
We had a couple of hours wait between trains in Brussells. We were keen to have a quick look around so found storage lockers but unfortunately most of the large ones were out of order and the staff unhelpful so it took an hour to sort it out - therefore no time to look around. This train wasn't as good as the Eurostar from London to Brussells and the wifi didn't work.
Easy trip - so much better than flying.
Although Amsterdam Central Station is about as hectic as it gets, finding the Thalys platform was easy and there is a person on the platform to guide you to your waiting area that lines up with your carriage.
Comfortable, easy, plenty of space to store your luggage and people to help point you in the right direction and ensure you get on the train at the correct carriage.
