Reviews & ratings Cordoba - Madrid
A very pleasant comfortable trip and decent meal. Particularly the leg room and space
During a recent trip to Spain we caught the Renfe high speed train from Cordoba to Madrid. The train was comfortable, great vaue for money, clean and most of all 'on time'. It was refreshing to have a train that departed and arrived at the destination on schedule. A great way to travel.
efficient; well connected to metro or bus; ride - chairs a little uncomfortable, but roomy; audio not ideal for English tourists (I could only get Spanish language); very good service on train
I recommend travelling by Renfe
The train was on time and very comfortable. No problem encountered.
We were very happy with our train journey from Madrid to Cordoba in October. The online ticket purchase and entire journey went very smoothly. The train left exactly on time and the carriage was comfortable. we would be very happy to recommend train journeys in Spain for ease and convenience.
The train was comfortable, clean, and sped through the Spanish countryside with little noise. Booking was easy and the efficiency of the system was first class, even though we had economy seats. All in all, a great experience which we would recommend.
The AVE train departed and arrived on time, was convenient and comfortable. Highly recommended. Rail Europe were very helpful
The train left and arrived on time. The carriage was not full- plenty of space. Everything was easy.
Reliable, very comfortable
The AVE bullet trains are relatively new and comfortable. We travelled the last leg of the Barcelona to Seville route so we had no room for our luggage. Luggage space on the train is limited. I recommend traveling in first class as there is extra space between seats for one suitcase. If you board the train at the beginning of a route get to the platform early so you can be first on and ensure there is space for your suitcase. Spanish trains are well run and efficient.
We both enjoyed this very much impressed by both Madrid and Cordoba train Stations and the ease and speed of traveling this way.
No getting to airports 2 hours before your flight, onto the train and of you go. Three hours later you are in Lisbon, what a relaxing way to travel. First class seats are very comfortable with lots of leg room and space. Tea/coffee and orange juice served in first class section. This is the way to travel Europe.
Train was on time, comfortable and fast. My only complaint is that when booking online from Australia not all scheduled times are available for booking. Tried to book a different time through the USA site but it wouldn't let me. Please open up the whole timetable to Australia.
