Reviews & ratings Dijon - Carcassonne
We recently purchased a 1st Class Saver France-Italy Pass hoping for true flexibility and freedom of travel at a reasonable price. Unfortunately, many of our trips were on TGV and Freccia trains, which require reservations and involved extra costs added to the price of the pass. SNCF don’t seem to issue reservations on line for pass holders, so going through a booking agency adds further costs. In our case, reservations and booking fees added almost 50% to the cost of our pass and made it more expensive than buying point to point tickets.
