Reviews & ratings Florence - Milan
Our trip from Milan to Florence was far more enjoyable than I anticipated, the train was roomy and most comfortable, however getting on the actual train with 2 heavy suitcases was an absolute nightmare. There were no lifts on the station and no porters to assist travellers. My husband has a problem with his back and with all the steps it was quite difficult to get our luggage up onto the platform. Not having a lift to the platform certainly detracted from the train journey.
First time booking a train ticket through internet and it was value for money. Very reliable and train was punctual. I paid a good price for my ticket from Florence to Milan as I booked through internet's special whereas others would pay more. It's a 5-star rating for Rail Europe.
