  • "Geneve CFF to Venezia St Lucia"
Chaos. Seat numbering was absurd and although we had consecutive seat numbers we were seated in separate rows in the same carriage. This seemed universal as people got on and got off there seemed to always be juggling of people not sure where they should be sitting and others with allocated seats. I booked a number of tickets with Rail Europe and on only one of them I had a window row - the rest I had a chunk of wall to look at during the journey. Also way overpriced as I booked online only to get an email a day later saying that fare was not available and they were holding tickets t the next fare - double the price. I had no choice because we had to get there.
