Reviews & ratings Madrid - Barcelona
So quick and comfortable - really enjoyed the trip.
I'm usually a plane traveler, but decided to go back train from Barcelona to Madrid and loved every minute of it. It was comfortable, spacious and very easy to access. The train was spot on on time as well. No waiting endless hours to check-in. The toasted sandwich I had on board was delicious as well. would highly recommend this way of travel to anyone.
Highly recommended. Good clean and very comfortable carriage. Actually managed to sleep due to the comfort of the seat which had a good recline and foot rest.
Excellent trip, once we got on the train. Problems finding our allocated seats. Little indication at Barcelona of where the correct carriage was to be found. A simple number on the outside near the door would help greatly. We got on in carriage 6 and had to scramble through to carriage 3. Better indication on tickets would also help. Otherwise OK.
It was a marvellous way to travel - fast, efficient and comfortable.
The train ride and view was very enjoyable. The only negative was the toilet seemed to have trouble flushing and there was no soap in the soap dispenser.
Booking online tickets was very easy and secure. The train coach was very clean and seating comfortable. Plenty of areas to store luggage. As a only English speaking travellers the movie shown was a miss, would have been good to have English sub-title option. Departure
Great train service, good timetable to choose from, value if you book ahead. Only complaints are lack of wifi and poor choice in cafeteria coach.
Great way to travel while relaxing in comfort. Fast and efficient.
Very beautiful train, very speedy check in with very friendly staff! Everything pre booked with raileurope made the trip very easy going. Loved it! Thank you!!
Very organised at each station and so much better than checking in for a flight. Would certainly use the train service again.
we loved our train trip from Barcelona to Madrid - it was super convenient and well priced. My only problem was the horrible stench that was in all the toilets! The smell burnt my nostrils and I think it's the worst smell I've ever experienced! So would gladly recommend the Renfe trains (I just won't drink any water next time!).
No complaints about the trip, fast and clean train/ journey
Superb way of traveling, very convenient, clean, comfortable and fast. No waiting in early queues at the airport. Would definitely recommend.
A very convenient, pleasant, comfortable, easy and enjoyable trip to Madrid. Stations at both ends were easy to access and well signposted.
