Reviews & ratings Madrid - Lisbon
The carriage and compartment were noisy not smooth while in Portugal. the ride in Spain was much better. Perhaps the infrastructure in Spain is higher quality.
The train is really worth a try-comfy and safe. As a student, I travelled with another friend of mine to save money. I got the Lisbon to Madrid overnight train ticket for 33.60 Euros. It was on sale online under the youth category. Make sure you try it out when you're young! It's quite an interesting experience! Was quite worried at first about the safety as both of us are girls, but it turned out just fine :)
