Reviews & ratings Munich - Verona
This train was really nice and clean as well as comfortable with more room than most and a beautiful trip through the mountains. It took us right where we want to go and didn't take way too long.
This was great as we had our compartment to ourselves. The problem is other passengers drift into the area and leave their bags and suitcases in the aisles which is difficult to get around when you have to alight.
the train was clean and left on time. It went through the Alps which had some breath taking views. It was well worth taking this trip in the daytime.
A very comfortable trip but the scenery was just magnificent, unforgettable. Very efficient service, on time, also very crowded but we all had a seat.
When I found my seat there was somebody already sitting in it. After talking to the conductor we found that it had been double booked. He told me to go and sit in first class. In first class there were many people who also did not have booked seats trying to find a spare seat. I sat in one that appeared to be booked by someone but luckily they never turned up. I was concerned that I would have to spend the five hours to Verona standing or constantly running around trying to find a spare seat, which a number of other people appeared to be doing.
We had a great trip in our little cabin, very comfortable. We had like minded people in our cabin and our trip became a little holiday in itself. Would do it again in a heartbeat. La Spezia Station a little difficult to navigate to which platform we needed for our onward trip to Cinque Terre. More signs and staff needed at train stations. The actual train wonderful.
