Reviews & ratings Nice - Montpellier
Not having booked seats made this trip harder than others we've had. Very hard with large luggage.
The train was on schedule and we arrived on time.
Make sure you take the inter-city as it's much quicker. An enjoyable trip but the beggars at Montpellier train station were overly persistent
Having pre-booked first class tickets the whole journey went smoothly. The train was on time and our group of 4 had a nice compartment to ourselves. The train food service is OK but I'd recommend buying a nice crusty roll at Nice station before travel.
