Reviews & ratings Paris - Biarritz
The overnight train from Paris to Biarritz was comfortable, fitted in with our schedule and we were able to get some sleep which was much needed after a long flight from Australia.
Good trip, luggage can be difficult to store. I would like to know how to book seats, from overseas, facing the way of destination.
Train was on time. Trip was rapid and comfortable. All arrangements and ticketing were correct.
After travelling throughout Europe last year and recently, my husband and I have been extremely happy and impressed by the high speed rail system in Europe. The system is highly efficient, trains arriving on time, very comfortable and clean, arriving at your destination feeling very relaxed, not having had to wait at airports for hours and needing to go through tedious check-ins etc. Prices for tickets are very reasonable considering all of these reasons. We would highly recommend this mode of travel.
Excellent journey and very quick too. Leave Biarritz @ 07:15 and arrive at Paris Montparnasse at 13:30. You can't beat that. Same comment as always that the "seat rake" adjustment on the TGV's seats is always "very temporary" all the one's we tried needed adjusting at least once per hour. Failing that I'd award 5 Star for comfort
