Reviews & ratings Paris - Florence

  • "Paris to Beziers"
I booked the tickets online before leaving Australia. Tried to book 11 tickets but kept getting an error message which didn't really define the nature of the problem. Eventually figured out that it didn't like me booking that many so booked 6 then had to get my sister to book the other 5. Would have liked them to be together but were in different coaches, although there were empty seats near mine. The trip itself was great. Very comfortable and pleasant way to travel. Struggled with the stairs at Beziers with all our luggage . Liked the announcements of next stops - travelled on Italian train from Florence to Perugia and had to guess when our stop would be.
  • "Overnight journey"
Sleeping cabins were tiny with little room for large baggage. Bunk beds were difficult to get down on our own, as we are not young any more and impossible to raise again the next morning. Sleep was better than we thought and quite comfortable. One exit door did not work, making it difficult to get off train. One toilet in our carriage did not work. Overall standard of maintenance needs to improve.
