Reviews & ratings Paris - London
Easy way to travel between the two major cities. However. Be warned that it can be hard to get some luggage space.
Excellent. Fast and comfortable. Forget flying
Travelling by rail is better than by plane, however the booking process from Australia was terrible.
My recent travel experience on the Eurostar was both convenient and comfortable. The booking process is so straight forward, the station is easy to access, the service was extremely good and the trip was on time and comfortable. I even used the special offer two for one pass at one of the Paris museums. A much better option than flying!!
Couple and two teenage girls heading to London after a month in Italy. Excellent on-time performance. Good Luggage storage and clean inside train(outside window grimy). Food offered via trolley (expensive), bar car good to stretch legs. quick trip and good way to see the countryside, although lots of passengers appeared to sleep. Power to charge electronics at seat but no internet(teenagers and parent wanting to search london activities). Great way to travel, but leave plenty of time to get on the train as British Passport and Customs are grossly inefficient. We had two hours from getting off the Italian TGV train to getting on the Eurostar and made it with 15mins to spare.
We travelled first class from Paris to London and it was a terrific journey. Comfortable and pleasant trip - terrific customer service. Great that you can check out the scenery as you travel. Highly recommend.
Great value journey. Booked tickets from Australia and had no trouble getting on the train. Customs clearance was quick and easy. Not a great selection of food at St Pancras station so eat before you go in.
Signage at the railway station in Paris is very poor, had difficulty finding where we had to go. Not enough seats in the departure lounge, so had to stand. Very convenient being able to book and pay online and collect the tickets from the machine. Had trouble getting the tickets, even a railway employee couldn't get the tickets from the machine, she was very helpful and used a computer terminal at the counter to print the tickets. Was not aware we could wind up sitting backwards to the way the train was travelling, felt slightly sick because of that, would like to be given a choice when making the booking. Seat quite comfortable, could have done with more legroom. The journey was smooth and very easy to access the London underground from St Pancras. Overall very easy and convenient to travel from Paris to London.
Easy and no fuss, thanks.
Very satisfied with everything on this leg. Easy check-in, easy boarding, comfortable and on-time.
We were a little concerned about travelling from London to Paris by train with a family and plenty of luggage. However, it was very easy! To be safe we got transport to the station and arrived early to be safe. We went through security and had plenty of time to relax, stress free with free Wi-Fi. We upgraded on a deal and received a meal served on the train. When we arrived in Paris, there were SUV's to transport us to accommodation. So much better than another airport and time safer! Give is a go!!!
Very easy and comfortable way to travel from London to Paris
All in all the trip was very good with a typical on time departure and arrival. There are a couple of things that were frustrating and for that reason I marked it down to VG. There were no porters available in Gare du Nord and we struggled with baggage. The waiting area in Paris is very cramped with many passengers congregating in a relatively small space. Some of the seats very very uncomfortable and the number was restricted. Consequently all seats were taken at least 1 hour before departure. Being a pensioner and somewhat immobile it made waiting very tiresome. I was disappointed that there was no distinction between Economy and Premier Tourist in terms of waiting area.
on time clean, smooth, clean window, could not fault the trip first bullet train and first time on English soil in 40yrs will recommend to others .
Excellent from checking at St Pancras to getting off at Paris Nord
