Reviews & ratings Perpignan - Montpellier
It was a very good train ride as far as comfort and ease leaving fromCDG. But however if you are English speaking you really need to have a fair idea of the upcoming stations as the announcements are not clear and you need to be ready with bags and things ready to alight.
The TGV was crowded. My allocated seat was occupied. There was a 1-hour wait in MONTPELLIER before transferring to a local, slower and less comfortable "express". The fare paid for a second-class ticket was almost twice that paid previously for a non-change first class ticket. I will avoid booking in this manner in future.
