Travel inspiration in Salzburg and Innsbruck
Salzburg is one of the most important cities in Austria, located on the banks of the Salzach River at the northern boundary of the Austrian Alps. The baroque city, surrounded by mountains, has a historical old town which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Salzburg is the birthplace of Mozart and the great conductor Herbert von Karajan.
A picture-perfect Austrian city with Alpine appeal, Innsbruck blends lavish baroque palaces and designer boutiques with old-world taverns and glass-fronted bars. Glittering with crystals and shining slopes, it’s steeped in tradition but by no means traditional – as Bögen’s all-night parties confirm.
Reviews & ratings Salzburg - Innsbruck
we got to genova and didn't know that we had to catch the train to milan first and then go from milan to verona. a bit worried as didn't know what to do but then asked at the station and they told us we had a couple of hours to wait to get the regional train to milan. it all worked out in the end, but if you could make that section clearer for other uses. thanks. would recommend train travel for anyone as we are in our mid 60,s and thoroughly enjoyed it.
