Travel inspiration in Venice and Bologna
Venice is a unique experience for every traveller and certainly a must for lovers. Few people know that Venice is actually an island-city with a train bridge connecting it to mainland Italy. This romantic city actually has no roads at all! To move around there are 150 canals and over 400 bridges! Venice has also beautiful churches, squares and museums. The southern part of the Venice has a certain village feel. Perfect to wander around in the little alleys, get lost and finally reach the Santa Margherita square. Ideal place for its lively bars!
In Bologna , let yourself be surprised
Student city Bologna’s past lives on in its towers , churches and palaces and the interlocking piazzas and colonnades of blood-red brick: the colour of Bologna’s greatest gift to students everywhere – spaghetti Bolognese.
Reviews & ratings Venice - Bologna
We have very pleasant experience with our recent train trips in Italy; we have traveled between Venice - Florence, Florence-Bolongna, Bolongna-Rome on the high speed trains. The cabin has been very modern, clean with comfortable and large seats, and the foods from the on-board kitchen were reasonable priced. The staff including conductors were friendly, although some of them only speak limited English (but hey, this is in Italy). The train system in Italy is more friendly for passengers than in France, you are allowed to get on the train without showing tickets, which are randomly inspected by the onboard conductors. Fast, comfortable, reliable, and in-expensive way of travel in Italy!
