Reviews & ratings Avignon - St Pierre des corps
Comfortable and clean journey, but it actually made some stops we weren't aware of when we booked, so a tip is to make sure you get a route map to help to determine when your stop is near.
Since it's Christmas Eve, the fare is a bit high. The train was delay for 10-15 minutes upon arrival to St Pierre Des Corps. We'd to pick up our rental car at St Pierre Des Corps before 6:00pm on Christmas Eve(They're closed on Christmas Day). Thanks to the train officer who helped us to phone to the rental car pickup desk informing them about the delay arrival of the train since we don't speak or understand French. Finally we did pickup the car and continued our trip as scheduled. Thankyou so much!
Hi, we trained around France and the service was excellent. The on time departure and seating comfort was great. Booking on line and buying tickets at the Gares was easy. Will use train again when we go back next year. regards Graham
My wife and I recently undertook 4 TGV rail journeys around France that were booked through Rail Europe. In all cases the booking website was easy to use, the cost was reasonable (I booked early), the trains were clean and on time. The only bad experience we had was travelling from St Pierre des Cors to Strasbourg, where the train platform was not displayed until 2 minutes before departure, which resulted in us almost missing the train. It would also be useful if the website allowed you to choose the direction of travel, as my wife gets motion sickness when travelling backwards.
