Reviews & ratings Barcelona - Cordoba
I tried to give 5 stars for value also but the stars wont work. This was a great trip. We were comfortable, and were able to easily watch the countryside through the large windows as we moved smoothly through between centres. The only thing we found difficult was the lack of luggage room and if the rack near the doors were full there were not many other options for travellers. Trains were on time, clean and well appointed for travel or business.
I have now used Renfe a few times. I prefer this travel to flying. Less hassle; on time and a great way to see the country side. Being able to get up on the journey and stretch the legs is great. The dining car was a refreshing opportunity as well. As usual the staff were attentive and very professional. Thank you for a great experience.
an excellent service and rail travel speed of up to 301 kh - whoow! thouroughly recommend rail travel in Spain
loved every minute of the trip
Pleasant and efficicient
The AVE bullet trains are relatively new and comfortable. We travelled the last leg of the Barcelona to Seville route so we had no room for our luggage. Luggage space on the train is limited. I recommend traveling in first class as there is extra space between seats for one suitcase. If you board the train at the beginning of a route get to the platform early so you can be first on and ensure there is space for your suitcase. Spanish trains are well run and efficient.
Train was on time, comfortable and fast. My only complaint is that when booking online from Australia not all scheduled times are available for booking. Tried to book a different time through the USA site but it wouldn't let me. Please open up the whole timetable to Australia.
