Your travel by train from London to Paris
Travelling between London and Paris with Eurostar is a comfortable and enjoyable experience. The high speed trains take just over two hours between the two capitals. On board the carriages are spacious and the seats have plenty of legroom. Business Premier and Standard Premier passengers enjoy in-seat meals, and there is a buffet car with hot and cold snacks for Standard passengers.
Travellers taking the Eurostar from London will board the high speed train at the impressive Kings Cross St Pancras station in the heart of the capital. The station is linked to mainline trains as well as underground lines. Arriving in Paris Gare du Nord Eurostar passengers have easy access to the metro and overland lines, as well as connections across the country. There’s a taxi rank to the right as you disembark the Eurostar.
Once you’ve arrived in Paris you have a lot of options to explore France further. There’s Euro Disney just a train ride away, or you can get another point to point ticket to another city or a France Rail pass will allow you to explore the whole country on the TGV.

Paris is a vibrant city and visitors can explore the many different neighbourhoods, visiting the famous flea markets in the north or having a beer on Canal St Martin. Tourists flock to the shops - the large department stores of Galleries La Fayette and Printemps and the designer shops along the Champs Elysees. Paris is also full of restaurants; a lively neighbourhood to eat in is the Left Bank and St Germain.
From Paris you can take a beautiful ride on the TGV Lyria to Geneva, or perhaps the TGV down to Nice and even the overnight Elipsos Trenhotel into Spain.
