Reviews & ratings Bordeaux - Paris
We travelled as a group of 4 and our experience was excellent the train was comfortable and clean and ran to schedule, we have no complaints at all.
Unlike the individual seats the seats with two couples facing each other are quite cramped even in 1st class and are best avoided. That said the journey was fast and convenient and we arrived in Paris before acquaintances who flew from Bordeaux. Unfortunately we traveled on a Sundayand the carriage was crowded with suitcases in the corridor,a fact ignored by train staff.
Traveled from Bordeaux to Paris with some big suitcases after 3 weeks holiday in France. We found the journey quick and interesting and there was plenty of space in the carriage for all the baggage. We have flown and driven before but this trip was by train and a very good experience. Lunch from the cafe car, with a local red wine is just fine! And all at great value.
We very much enjoyed our train travel from CDG Paris to Bordeaux. Train station was easy to find at CDG, train was on time, carriages easily identifiable, very clean and quiet. Truly great way to travel. We will definitely travel more by train when next in Europe.
Our trip was easy to book and our journey was smooth and efficient.
our first experience and we're thrilled with the timeliness and convenience. Would do again
Apart from my confusion with seating and rail car identification we enjoyed the travel yet again , this is a regular trip for us as we travel to France each year, and use your Montparnasse to Bordeau TGV return service each time we visit.
Fast, convenient service.
it would be helpful if all tickets for all trips e.g. bordeaux st jean - perigueux could be printed from the internet thank you
Service re Tickets and help from Rail Europe Australia] was very good.
On time, smooth ride, great views.
My French is quite minimal and being a solo traveller, I was very worried about getting on the right train. Everyone I asked for help was very helpful and friendly. I felt very safe and comfortable for my journey. I would happily use the trains again.
Comfortable and clean and on-time journey from Paris to Bordeaux. We had reserved our seats which meant we did not have to move around to other seats like other fellow passengers were doing. Definitely need to reserve seats!
Impressed by the comfortable, clean cabins for this journey. The wine and cheese available in the dining car was also a pleasant surprise which we enjoyed. The only downside of train travel is the short lead time announcing the platform number before we board the train at Bordeaux. A little longer even five minutes extra would be really helpful to avoid a stampede. Otherwise, a great journey and on-time service.
Excellent, punctual, clean, poor variety for dinner only. Great comfort.
