Reviews & ratings Guingamp - Paris
We didn't realise that there was in fact two trains joined together. At Rennes the trains separate and the first train goes on to Brest. We had asked three rail employees for assistance to our seating but we spoke little French and they spoke no English. We had paid for 1st class. We had got on to the back of the train so our section stayed behind in Rennes. We then had a delay of 1 1/2hrs which turned into 3 1/2 hrs (delay) to get to Guingamp. It did make things difficult as we had friends waiting for us who had driven 1/2hr to pick us up. Other than that our trip was enjoyable!!! Note to self: Always get on the front of the train and ask everyone in the carriage if they can speak English to assist you…….
It was great to be able to have a direct connection from Brittany to Paris, with easy connections into the Metro. The booking
