Reviews & ratings Metz - Paris
The train journey was smooth and uneventful; it passed through some very beautiful countryside and charming villages on the edge of Lake Geneva. The biggest problem was finding the entrance to the railway station in Geneva, which is not well marked, and I had to ask several people for directions.
TGVs are nice when you don't get aisle seats. Aisle seats are uncomfortable as there is nothing to look at and you will inevitably fall asleep (most likely on the person next to you) if you don't have something to keep you occupied! They are also expensive and do not offer any complimentary wifi.
Comfortable trip marred by poor air conditioning and lack of wifi.
The train was punctual, it was a quick pleasant travel. Easy to find where my seat was. I had no issues.
Not as smooth or as fast as some other TGV lines, but still a relaxing, very fast train, friendly staff, and of course, right on time!
Overall very good, could have done with more leg room.
The train was comfortable and clean. It was a convenient way to travel.
