Reviews & ratings Paris - Nice
I found the journey along the Mediterranean to be somewhat slower than the speed I was expecting, but when we headed inland, the train speeded up. The seats are very comfortable and the charging points are very handy. Staff in the dining car were friendly and the food palatable. My main issue is the lack of seats at the departing train stations, not just Nice. It is not very convenient to have to stand around with luggage while waiting for a train. You can't walk around the town carrying all your luggage to pass the time.
Travelled in first class. Very comfortable journey. Lots of leg room and a clean quiet cabin made it a lovely trip. Would definitely recommend it to others.
This was a great train ride through the French country side. Really conformable train and on time.
My husband and I took the train from Paris to Nice which was faster, cheaper and much more relaxing than driving.
We really enjoyed our trip to Nice using the train, the seats were comfortable
I did have difficulty printing out the e ticket but the staff of Rail Europe were helpful. I hadn't realised I could have booked a particular seat ie upstairs
Very comfortable, Easy to do with large cases.
Probably underutilised Eurail pass but convenience factor was main drawcard. Main issue was lack of luggage space, particularly as train was well patronised.
Great way to travel. We went first class. Seats very comfortable and plenty of room. A few steps to get luggage up and down when boarding. Very smooth and quiet trip.
The trip was good in terms of ease of booking, punctuality, comfort and scenery. The only negative was the catering which had very limited mainly unappetising choices at high prices. Otherwise all good.
Very comfortable and fast trip from Nice to Paris CDG. On time and easy to manage, no ques, security issues etc
Fast trip very comfortable. Suitcases too heavy to put UP in the racks
Nice trip, confortable and clean.
