Reviews & ratings Toulouse - Lyon
It was an excellent journey. The train was clean and comfortable and the high speed ensured we were at our destination in about 2 hours. If only Australia had such a train service!
It was easy to travel
We had an enjoyable stop at Lyon station where there were good food outlets and shops. We had a slight problem with the escalators and lift not working but we managed to find a ramp up to the platform. Again the train left on time and was very comfortable. The scenery was great and we enjoyed a few refreshments before arriving at Toulouse on time. No lift or escalator at Toulouse station so we had to tackle the stairs which was difficult at the end of a long day's travel. We had a wonderful journey and would do it again and recommend it as our preferred method of travel.
Train left and arrived in Lyon right on time. Very quiet, comfortable train.
The trip was only a couple of hours. Safe, comfortable, clean and on time. Great value for money. Beats driving hands down.
Again a comfortable and on time trip. Not really sure of the extra benefit of paying for 1st class - other than a slightly better seat there did not look to be ny difference. The on line purchasing of tickets was seamless and hassle free -definitely the way to go.
