Reviews & ratings San Sebastian - Madrid

  • "Comfortable, with 1 change"
Requires 1 change of trains, on a different platform, and our first train was running a little late. However the station staff was very good at directing people to the right place.
  • "Great way to travel"
On time, comfortable seats and pleasant train attendants. A great way to travel.
  • "use the train"
The Renfe was the way to go. It's from the centre of the city to the centre of the city. Very clean, comfortable and affordable. The staff were friendly and very helpful.
  • "Relaxing"
Train departed on time, it was clean, comfortable and relaxing. Food could be improved
  • "Comfortable but poor toilets"
Very unclean toilet with no toilet paper on the train.
  • "Trains in Spain"
Very comfortable, however it would have been nice to have access to a Lounge prior to departure and perhaps service once on the train - a la Train Travel between states in the USA. It would also have been beneficial to have an am departure rather than the pm service only. I am still wondering why I paid to travel First Class - from my observation, there is no benefit for paying 1st class...... Sincerely, David Peel
