Stockholm Central Station is the main railway station in the city of Stockholm and the largest railway station in Sweden. The Stockholm Central Station is located in the city centre. More than 200,000 travellers transit through the station daily, making it one of the busiest railway stations in Scandinavia. The station has all the facilities and services of a modern railway station.

The Stockholm Central Station is served by SJ trains linking Malmö, Göteborg and Oslo, high speed trains (X2000) linking cities such as Malmö, Copenhagen, Göteborg, and Strömstad as well as night trains to Lulea, Narvik and Malmö. Arlanda Express is the rain which links Stockholm-Arlanda Airport to Stockholm Central Station.

Transportation and connections

Local trains & subway: The Stockholm Central Station is connected directly to the efficient and extensive metro system, called the Tunnelbana.
Buses: Bus number 47 goes out to Djurgarden (island) and Number 69 runs to Gärdet.
Taxis: Taxis are available directly outside the station.
Airport: There is a regular coach service, run by the bus company Flygbussarna, between Arlanda Airport and Stockholm’s central station. There is also an airport rail link, called the Arlanda Express.
