You must book a ticket for the Thalys trains and if you book in advance you are more likely to get the best fares. You can book online with Rail Europe up to three months before you travel so there is plenty of time to plan your trip in more detail.

It’s easy to travel with Thalys as you can simply board the train with your ticket and travel documents and they will be checked onboard. So there is no hassle waiting in check in queues at the station before you board.
