    "The choice to travel by train to Madrid was perfect.The trip took 3 hours,av . speed 280km per hour.It was a chance to see the countryside,check-in time was minimal and the Madrid airport is in the centre of town.The only problem was luggage,since most passengers had a couple of items,luggage was in the aisles.The problem is the space allocated for suitcases is too small. "

    "I had been travelling in Europe for about a month..planes..buses..and decided to travel on something different. It took me back to my childhood when I used to travel on train a fair bit.. It was great..I didn't need to be there an hour before (like planes).. And was comfortable, plenty of leg room and great to be able to get up and walk around when required...head to the dining car etc. Was great to also watch some of the scenery..missed when flying.. "

    "Spanish intercity trains are fast, reliable and quite comfortable. This is not reflected in the way they sell their tickets. The Renfe website is tricky, at-the-ticket-office queues are long, foreign credit cards can cause difficulty. So while I have since managed those hassles, I'm glad I used Rail Europe for my first experience of Spanish train travel. "
