  "Upon booking Eurostar I was quite excited. The checkin process was simple however when I arrived to board my carriage I had a big heavy bag and the staff member did not make any attempt to assist me in lifting it up the stairs despite being a male and when purchasing the ticket it stated that someone would greet me at the carriage and assist me (or something like that). The staff member was not even friendly. I traveled on a first class ticket and the carriage was dirty.. not just a little bit but really dirty. I had someone from a previous journeys dirty napkin in my magazine compartment, there were breadcrumb seeds on my chair and my window was dirty which disrupted my view (the reason I chose Eurostar over a plane in the first place). Overall I was disappointed. "

  "Best way to travel around europe. We bought our Eurostar tickets in advance in Australia and were delivered to our home within 24 hour. Our 1st class seats were also allocated in advance. All we had to do was show up and board the train for the short trip from London to Paris "

  "Far too noisy regarding conversations of other people. The ceiling needs to be sound absorbant and not reflective. There were several annoying conversations going on halfway down the carriage which spoilt an otherwise enjoyable experience. "

  "Going from Paris to London by Eurostar proved to be so easy,train schedule is extremely flexible,reasonably priced and comfortable.I am hoping to be able to do more traveling through europe by train to enjoy the change in scenery and the short wait for trains. "

  "Outstanding trip, so straightforward. The London St Pancras station is amazing and functional, like new. Allow an hour before departure for security, customs etc. The train trip is fast and smooth, quiet inside and out, some lovely views. Paris Nord is a shock, dirty compared to St Pancras. Watch your bags! "

  "London St Pancras is a welcoming station and an ideal, convenient departure point. The train left on time and was comfortable and efficient delivering us to a centrally-located station in the north of Paris from which it was easy to connect with a local train to get us to where we needed to be. "

  "Train was on time and on schedule, much more convenient than going through an airport and security waiting for bags. The only downside, and a huge downside, our carriage was full of French primary school kids that pretty much had free range all over the carriage. From screaming all trip to jumping on the tables and pushing and hitting you everytime they go past just made it unbearable for the 2 hours. The teachers/guardians were sitting in the luggage compartment and were not in the carriage, and no one from the train line was going through checking. I guess we were just unlucky to get that carriage. At least DB Bahn has "quiet" carriages, will choose that next time. "

  "This was my first experience of travelling on Eurostar. I was delighted with the ease of travel, from comfort of the seats, speed of the journey and ease of connecting transport after arrival in London. On arrival Gard du Nord, I did have difficulty at first finding where the upper level to check in for the journey could be accessed. I was surprised by the level gradient during the journey even to pass under the water, there did not appear to be a descent or ascent. It was quite amazing. Thank you! "
